2019 ANZACPE Conference – Adelaide

The ANZACPE Supervisors’ Conference for 2019 will be held in Adelaide from September 8th-11th.

The conference theme – ‘Being in Tune with the Divine, Ourselves and Each Other’ 

Venue:  The Oaks Plaza Pier Hotel, 18 Holdfast Promenade, Glenelg. (Access their website here).

 

We enjoyed some days near the beach to enjoy each other’s company and shared wisdom, to do the work of ANZACPE and to reflect together on being in tune with the Divine, ourselves and each other.

Keynote Speakers

Rev Prof Andrew Dutney

REV PROF ANDREW DUTNEY who teaches Systematic Theology within the Adelaide College of Divinity and Flinders University. He is the Principal of Uniting College for Leadership & Theology and a Past President of the National Assembly of the Uniting Church in Australia. He is widely published in theology and ethics and provides regular media comment on religion, ethics, spirituality and society. An inspiring and thoughtful communicator, he is also a musician and songwriter.

Heather Frahn

HEATHER FRAHN is an award winning vocalist, a song weaver, multi- instrumentalist, sound designer, meditation teacher, sound healing therapist, and music-based spiritual care worker. Her multi-dimensional work in the performing arts, healing arts, and community arts, ranges across diverse applications from hospital wards, to public parades, from yoga centres, to remote communities, from universities, to some of the finest arts festivals and theatre stages nationally and overseas. Heather intertwines her love of spiritual care with healing music, sacred songs, and mindfulness meditation.

Rev. Bob Kempe

PASTOR BOB KEMPE who has been a lecturer at Australian Lutheran College and the Uniting College of Leadership and Theology. He has broad experience as parish pastor in Tasmania, New Zealand and Adelaide, as well as school chaplaincy and mental health pastoral counselling. A significant aspect of Bob’s ministry contribution has been through CPE. His CPE supervisory journey has taken him to Melbourne and Adelaide and Minnesota, USA. He is a valued source of wisdom as a level 3 Educator.
